Belonging to Roero, on the terraces of “the Rocche” (real chasms that originate from a geological phenomenon of erosion), whose soil is a kind of sandy matrix with numerous fossils of marine origin, witnessing that the geological period is the so called succession Plio-plestocenica ; the stratigraphic and sediment type consists of a marble-edge with the appearance of fine sand siltose in outcrop called sands of Asti.

To be noticed how the sands get interrupted by gravel and sands with layers of siltosi-clay. Elastic soils that are ideal for growing Arneis as well as for the production of wine with delicate bouquet and salinity in the mouth.
